			Home > Pocomo > In Brief A Summary: Just before spring of last year (2004) members of the Nantucket Kiteboarding Association were informed that Lawerence Mannix, the owner of the property on one side (East) of Pocomo Point was concerned about kiteboarding and safety issues at the point. We began to meet with the Town Beach Committee in Spring of 2004 and through several meetings developed a detailed plan for safe kiteboarding at Pocomo Point. Before the season we submitted an approved Plan for Safe Kiteboarding at Pocomo Point to the Committee and the Committee delivered it to Lawerence Mannix. No response was forthcoming from Mr. Mannix.
