As the summer approached members of the Nantucket Kiteboarding Association tried to discuss the situation with various Town officials. But to no avail.

There was no kiteboarding at Pocomo. NKA members did not access the harbor through Pocomo Point during the Summer 2004 season. This was especially unfortunate for Kiteboarders with children as Pocomo is a well known little kids beach.
